Vibe Coder (part time)

Do you use AI to build custom apps?

We're looking for people who've spent their evenings learning to vibe code — and want to get paid to do it .

Peatling Group works with hands-on local businesses (construction, horticulture, agriculture). We're often their on-ramp to the full power of AI. That increasingly means helping them to build bespoke software. The tools you’ll build could include quoting, scheduling, or AI Q&A tools. These are real products - which if we do our job well - are used daily by paying clients.

Role specifics

• £20 up to 30/hr. if your code needs little/no rework.

• Likely ~15 hrs/week, Flexible working, but starting with co-working as we get to know each other.

• Work directly with our founder (ex-Head of Strategy at a large software company).

• Ship real products you can point to, not coursework.

Computer science or engineering knowledge an advantage, but any background welcome - what matters is what you've built.

1. Send us something you've made - a link, a repo or a demo video - plus a short CV (or just tell us your degree and any work experience).

2. Meet to discuss in person (Essex University)

3. Start on a real project.
